Good morning! I have a question regarding about my camera, I just recently bought an Xh2s, when I try shooting in M mode, it produces 3 photos instead of 1. Do anyone knows how to change this? Thank you!

One great test for sure, and your process deserves recognition for its results. You cover most every possible thing within those 10 minutes. May I add the length and weight of the Tamron creates a very good balance when paired with the FX30, especially if a camera cage is in the mix. Other thing to know, quite an important one and often forgotten : Sony own partially Tamron (up to 11%, if my data are up-to-date). This means lots of informations are passed from the Sony side when designing lenses and its various internal softwares. Because we all know these lenses are equipped with lots of microchips, so high-standard programming is crucial for perfect operation. In this regard, and thanks to expertise being shared, Tamron can have the lead over Sigma (providing all processes are done properly). Even more so when software updates are being released, thanks to users' feedback and testers usage. I think this is something to add in the determining factors when time comes for the choice. ✋️🙂

Hi, did you notice any focus jump/focus pulsating when you close up to the subject with autofocus on with this lens (PZ 16-35mm F4 G)? Mine seems to have the issue when I use gimbal to go in closer to the subject's face, it seems to have that zoom pump, but it is actually the focus going error for a very fast milliseconds (or looks like focusing the back of the subject in mine), and then slowly focus back to the subject, and it is quite frequent. Or sometimes it would just make that whole scene to have the shaking stutter effect for a millisecond, I had even set the focus shift sensitivity to the lowest, and it still does the same thing. For the body I'm currently using A7S3. got them both, i hate Xh2s for the autofocus xD so i replaced it for zve1 for traveling, lost many shots bcoz of the autofocus and focus breathing

Did you use davinci resolve for editing? Or both adobe and davinci?

If you only compare a few odd shots taken with a 35mm that you don't do anything else with except viewing the image on your phone or computer, you are not going to notice too much of a difference. However, when you look at an entire body of work shot with an I-phone vs almost any modern mirrorless (full frame or APSC) taken with a bagful of zooms or primes that you turn into portrait wall art, yes, you can tell. I've said this before: I wouldn't show up at a professional wedding shoot with only an I-Phone, but if something happens to your A-cam (overheats and temporarily shuts down, you need to change batteries, whatever), DON'T hesitate to pull out the I-Phone until you can attend to your A-Cam.

Lumix S9 + iPhone + Smart Lab App is the way to go!

I prefer Sony colors, easier to work with. I also think people ultimately want reliability over anything else, and that’s what you get with Sony.

I saw a different test called "Sigma 28-70 F2.8 vs Tamron 28-75 F2.8 G2 - Which Sony E-Mount Zoom Lens is better?", and Tamron was way better in almost every aspect.

Love my smart phone for simple B roll. I like my Sony A7IV for everything else.

I think starting with a phone is a great option for the majority of people. You only lose out on a few things like low light performance and depth of field. The Xaomi looked pretty nice in my opinion, but slightly hazy and crushed contrast (much like action cameras) Leaving less flexibility for color correction in post. Nice review Ken!

Great video! I think with iPhone log etc, the majority of users need a phone and maybe compact cameras like Ricoh or Pocket 3. Those not being paid or doing hobby wildlife - mirrorless with changeable lenses is an insane amount of money.

I always carry my a6700 and two smartphones (apple and android)with me when I am out shooting. I always find myself using my iPhone 13 pro more often than the a6700. Main reason is using smart phones is more convenient for me to share the content I need for my social media platform. It’s fast and when creative ideas came I can just quickly shoot and share it. Time is money!😂

I started my videography as a hobby on iPhone 14 Pro Max + DJI OSMO M6. Doing-travel b-roll and stuffs and later after a year got Sony A6700 as I got into more photography as well. Phone is surely very easy to shoot with and is enough for social media posting but it has some limitation especially for photos. Phone seems to be a bit too over sharpening and weird contrasts and color in some situations (may be it's just iPhone?) and the file is not as good as camera RAW that's for sure.

Would the difference be more when pushing with grade?

You are very new to the Canon R system and lack lenses. I own the Canon R8. Awesome camera compared to the price (USD 1199). try RF24mm F1.8. It is enjoyable to vlog with RF24mm F1.8 also with crop it can be 37mm equivalent (for b-roll). For autofocus check your setting and with RF35mm F1.8 stm it is slow and good for cinematic shot.

I have had both. Obviously the SIgma is better. But I did not hate the kit lens either. It was much much better then any Canon kit lens I have ever used.

I am a total beginner with a A7C, Viltrox 16mm 1.8 (for night astro), Sony 55mm 1.8, Laowa 100mm 2.8 macro and the kit lens 28-60....I had been thinking in a zoom lens for travel photography, zoo and id like a lens i could use in a Formula 1 track. Which one would you recommend me to buy??? right now the 50-300 is at 1,100 CAD and the 50-400 is 1,474 CAD and altough there is a $$ difference, 30% difference in cost is not the end of the world. Which one would you recommend me to buy???

Really wanted to get the s5iix but the moire was bad. Practically every video with people in it had moire on their clothes. Randomly happens. The FX30 and FX3 don’t seem to have this issue. Although personally I feel the FX3 still has a better look than the FX30. I think the OLPF creates a more filmic look.
